Hair is not a living part of your body...at least the hair we see part of it goes. Why not chop it all off and make a fresh start of it.

I am not African-American but I have a hair mask that is great. I have very very curly frizzy hair and this helps mine. Mash up 1 banana, add 3 tablespoons mayonnaise and 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil. Mix well, apply to hair, cover hair with plastic wrap and leave it on from 15 to 30 minutes. Rinse and shampoo as usual. The potassium and vitamin A in the mask helps restore health and shine to the hair.

The best way to treat damaged hair is actually to cut it low %26amp; start again. As I am not aware of how bad the damage is, I will assume it's breaking in various parts, some bits longer than the other. Your hair is trying to tell you that it is over processed and is in need of "feeding". You need to oil your scalp this will feed the hair. Condition your hair every 2 weeks. Using either a deep conditioner %26amp;/or a heated treatment (steaming).

By doing these "little" things, you should see a difference in the next 2 months.

If you are unsure about cutting your hair remember you can disguise it by wearing wigs, weaves, scafves.

Good luck

Try to keep it greased, shampoo it once a week, and wrap your hair at night. Also, use t-tree products and Dr. miracle's hair growth formula.

I had the same problem. This is a little expensive, but the products are excellent and work very well. The product line is called Phyto. Use the following:

Phytoaxil庐 energizing shampoo with Phytoaxil庐

Phytoaxil庐 fortifying intensive care with patented Phytoactive concentrate

Phytophan猫re dietary supplements for hair, nails, skin and lashes
