Often people like to ask me because of my features what race am I? My father is an African-American man of Bahamian decent and my mother is full blood Cherokee native American. My hair is curly but when I take a shower it falls down and I have bangs. A few people have actually thought that I was Indian. also during the winter months my skin tone lightens up alot. Are there others like me?
Why are people so amazed by my features?
my hair is like that too. so is my mom's and my sister's omg! (her hair is to her like butt, lol.)
When my hair is wet, it's like straight curly. (it's really, really nice.)
People sometimes mistake me for being Dominican, a lot. lol.
Genetics my dear, genetics.
Both of my parents are black, but in my mom's side, we have Blackfoot Native American from my great-great grandmother. and Cherokee from my father's side, i think.
(a lot of black people are mixed with Cherokee anyway.)
but i'm not lightskinned, lol. Nor am i dark skinned. (i consider myself inbetween, brown-skinned. tee hee hee!)
my features are cool too =
i have uh,,,, big, curvylike, roundish eyes, um smallish-mediumish lips. uh a not-big nose, lol? (lol. ahahaha.) it's average, i dunno.
Why are people so amazed by my features?

*** w96 11/1 p. 32 閳ユ凡e All Belong to the Same Family閳?***
The bougainvillea produces red, pink, and sometimes white flowers. Yet, they all belong to the same family. It is the same with humans. Although we may be of different races, skin color, or ethnic background, we all belong to the same family, the family of mankind.閳?br>Why are people so amazed by my features?
so what? i dont seem amazed by u..u seem like ur are arrogant
Why are people so amazed by my features?
Well I've been mistaken for a black arab, but that is still black so it makes no difference to me. Many people think my mother is Native American, SHE IS NOT. Just because someone is lighter and don't have REALLY curly hair doesn't mean you aren't black YOU ARE STILL BLACK!!!
Why are people so amazed by my features?
People tend to think I'm Indian, as in Southern Indian due to my coloring and my nose. I'm actually a mixed Black Latina with no Indian in me what-so-ever.
My Blasian-looking mom doesn't help with the "What are you?!" department.
Why are people so amazed by my features?
Hell yes lol. I'm just like you except a girl.
My mother is Trinidadian (an Island) her grandparents are from India and my dad is Russian (white)
Because of my naturally tanned skin, I've been called Israeli, Native American, and Indian.
my skin also lightens up in the winter and i become more white looking, i tan super easily though and my hair goes from dark brown to light brown depending on how sunny it is.
So yeah, we're pretty cool unique people lol.
Why are people so amazed by my features?
I am not amazed by you. I am repulsed. Beautiful people don't need to brag about their features to random people on the internet.
Why are people so amazed by my features?
I'm truly amazed! How I wish I were you, instead of a Mel Gibson look-alike.
Why are people so amazed by my features?
Genetics are pretty amazing. When your parents are different races there are a multitude of possibilities. My parents are both light skin African Americans (with French, African American and Spanish ancestry). I am light olive. I tan in the summer and fade every winter. My hair is dark brown and curly. People can never tell "what I am". I have been asked if I am Puerto Rican (or other hispanic), East Indian, Filipino and Samoan!
At some point in the future, I think that the concept of race will disappear.
