What is the best shampoo to use for african-american hair after swimming in a pool?

the problem is that pool chemicals dry out your hair which causes it to become more coarse and tangely.i would highly reccomend Theratin Extreme moisture shampoo and Humectin extreme moisture conditioner by Nexus.

the trick is just to make sure u really wash out all the chlorine if u must wet ur hair make sure it is thouroughly washed out with the shampoo u mormally use which shouldnt really matter, but i do reccommend african pride products, motions, optimum even tresemme works well u need to experiment for your hair type. also make sure u condition to put back the nutrients the chlorine stripped out, i normally use african pride hair mayonnaise or cholesterol after any wash even if i have used a normal conditoner. if anything you can just carry a simply carry a two in one shampoo and conditioner and wen u go home just grease ur hair appropriatly or as required . i hope this helps babes

To make sure you get all the chlorine and chemical out of your hair, try Queen Helen's Lemon fluff Shampoo, and Hair Cholestrol Conditioner. They are both yellow, they both smell good, and they both work wonders. Mane %26amp; Tail Shampoo and Deep Moisturizing Conditioner work, smell and feel real good too.

maybe before getting in the pool you should wet your hair with regular water bc hair can only absorb so much water.or spray a leave in conditioner in it. but remember if you're in the pool %26amp; you wring out ur hair its gonna absorb the chlorinated water. try a hydrating shampoo..if you cannot find that try moisturizing shampooo.they are basically the same thing but i think hydrating is more accurate.
