hmmm go ahead and try it since u say ur hair is strong. i'm black too and my hair is strong as well. but it can maybe make your hair dry. make sure to condition it realllllllly well. :)

You can color the same day with certain products. They are available at Sallys Beauty Supply and other stores like that. There is Jazzing, The Beautiful Collection by Clairol and Color Brilliance these are smei-permanant conditioning colors and are normally safe to use if your hair isn't horribly over-processed. There maybe more info on these at Sally Beauty Supplies website... I am not sure of the address, should be easy to find as it is a world wide company.

You can but I would make a call to the beautician that put the relaxer in your hair and get their input first, unless they told you have healthy hair. If that is the case than go ahead and color away. Just be sure the coloring kit does not have ammonia in it, if it does it is not safe to use on relaxed hair.
