get a fhi with a heat setting or a chi turbo. both work very well on kinky hair. i almost never use a pressing comb anymore! You have beautiful hair! If you must straigthen it (which I wouldn't) I would use a good ceramic flat iron. Don't do it too often or you will damage that wonderful head of hair you have.
