get your ends trimmed and keep your hair conditioned! protein packs mainly. don't put anything harsh in your hair... and don't use the same relaxer again...

If your hair is breaking off froma relaxer, you need to talk to your beautician. Hair shouldn't break off from a relaxer. If it is you probably need to switch beauticians asap!

I am an African- American girl who has recieved plenty of them to know!

Try not to get another one unless its seriously neccessary, also keep your hair in a wrap at night. Use enriching shampoos and other hair products like Pantene's line of hair care products for women of color. Get your hair trimmed every 4-6 weeks, just a few centimeters and wear braids alot.

go the dominicans girl. They can really do some stuff. but if u dont want that just use Dr.Miracle's hair greece and shampoo, it will really grow your hair. Also as i said before eat more healthy like foods with vitamins, and minerals. Once i started eating like that my hair started to grow like crazy, and it also began to cutt off when i got my first perm too! but now its near to my shoulders

Make sure you get a good conditioner. I have relaxed hair and its very strong and it doesn't break. I use Queen Helene Cholesterol Hair conditioning cream, that I leave on my hair for an hour, each time I wash my hair (which is 1-2 times a week). I also make sure I do an hot oil treatment every two weeks, I use TCB hydrating hot oil treatment and finally I apply Parnevu Leave in Treatment to my hair before blow drying my hair. It works for me, but every ones hair works differently, consult with a good cosmetologist.

if a relaxer is not applied right it will break ur hair off terribly. make sure u dont leave it in longer than the instructions say and in some cases not even that long.

all u can do now is let it grow out and keep it healthy. keep it trimmed cuz even though we all want long hair, not trimming it is worse cuz splits travel up ur hair shaft and break it off. try some hair supplements. make sure u drink lots of water cuz that will make the vitamins work better and just a lot of water intake by itself is good to make ur hair grow. dont heat style it if u can avoid it. brush ur hair regularly from the scalp, massaging ur scalp and getting oils down the hair shaft will make ur hair healthier and shiny. be careful how u style it. above all keep ur hair moisterized. dry hair breaks off. good luck hun. btw hair vitamins can cost as little as $6 for a bottle of 60.

Treat it like fine linen. No, brushing because it is damaged. Can you get a good trim and start from there. I will only suggest a somethings that may help. Do NOT get another relaxer in 8 weeks, stretch it by learning to wear braids, two strand twists or bantu. If it is short buy S-Curl and then seal your hair with olive, coconut, tea or carrot oil etc and a good leave in conditioner nexxus headress emgergence and work it until it gets curly and let it air dry and use a handband or something.. Check out this site Blackhairmedia.com.

Learn about the baggy (that is cover your head with a plastic bag after you have moist and oil it will defintely help your ends) Heat is damaging.
