I have relaxed african american hair, and i want to wear it wavy/curly. Help please!?

i've tried garnier fructis, and aussie.

The products make my hair wavy, but it always frizzes up when it dries. Please be detailed on how to do everything!!

Thanks

Well, since the shampoo/conditioner you're using (I'm assuming that that is what is making your hair wavy, right?) is already getting you half way to your goal, to prevent frizz and dry ends, I would reccomend you visit this site:http://missjessies.com/

Their products are amazing are really hydrating, so your hair will never be frizzy and dry and the site has step-by-step instructions on how to achieve your desired look. Or, you could try using a curl activator in your hair after washing it; my hairdresser reccomended this curl activator to me and its great. Here's the site: http://www.justbeautyproducts.com/prodde...

I don't know how possible that is considering the relaxer makes the hair straight - You would have to put more product in it and that's not good. If your hair is drying up when you use things maybe you should use more conditioner or get a leave in brand.

You may want to try to wear your hair in a rod set or a straw set..It will give the appearence as if you have very curly hair and the older your curls become the prettier it is.Here are the items you will need:

Drinking straws that you may want to cut to different sizes

Or perm rods..different sizes of course

Setting lotion or wrap lotion..and hair end papers..

Bobby pins not hair [pins but bobby pins

Hooded dryer

Oil sheen or Essential oil

You need to shampoo your hair and condition it. Once you've done that you need to saturate your hair w/ setting lotion.

Start at the nape or the back of your head and part your hair into 1/4 or 1/2 inch sections and place end papers on the ends of your hair. Roll your hair onto the straws and secure them with bobby pins. You need to continue this process throughout your entire head until every strand of hair is rolled. You will then need to dry your hair under a hooded dryer...Once your hair is completely dry..bone dry then you need to remove the straws and seperate each curl with your fingers and make sure you add a little oil to each curl so that your hair wont look dry...

GOOD LUCK!!
